Day 1: Visiting Barcelona and the Sagrada Familia
If you're spending 3 days in Barcelona, here is the plan for this first day.
Morning
Start your day by taking the Barcelona tourist bus with an audioguide. It gives you a quick overview of the city with its main monuments and sights.
NB: a must for anyone who wants to visit Barcelona in 1 day, or for those wondering: what to see in Barcelona in 3 days with the family?

You can then stroll around and have lunch on Passeig de Gràcia, on the Rambla de Catalunya or nearby.
- Hotels in central Barcelona: 13 favourite addresses
- Sagrada Familia entry: tickets, opening hours, practical information
- Dalí House in Cadaqués: visits and practical information
- What to do in Menorca: 24 unmissable activities
- Visiting Lanzarote in 1 week: what to do and see?
- Visiting Malaga in 1 day: the essentials
- What to do in Lisbon in 3 days? Top 10 not to miss
- What to see in the Basque Country? Top villages and activities
Afternoon
Plan a visit to the Sagrada Familia with an audioguide. Given how popular it is, we strongly advise you to book your ticket now.

Late in the evening, you can have dinner on a rooftop in Barcelona to admire the panoramic view and enjoy the moment. Here are a few good addresses:
- Terraza 360° (Hotel Barceló Raval)
- Sky Bar (Grand Hotel Central)
- La Dolce Vitae (Majestic Hotel & Spa)

Day 2: Montjuïc, La Rambla, tapas and flamenco
Morning
Take the Barcelona funicular up to Montjuïc Castle. From up there, admire the breathtaking view over the city.
📌 Alternative: if you'd rather stay in the city centre and want to visit Barcelona in 3 days on foot, opt for a visit to Casa Batlló, another Gaudí masterpiece. You can book a combined ticket including a visit to the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló and Park Güell.

Afternoon
Go for a stroll along the Rambla de Catalunya. Stop at the La Boquería market to try a few tapas, then wander through the Gothic Quarter or El Born.

In the evening, don't miss a great flamenco night.

Day 3: Park Güell, Barceloneta and Barcelona's beaches
Morning
On the programme for this last day: a visit to the sublime Park Güell. You won't regret it. Take the time to explore the different parts of the park, in particular its famous mosaic bench, which appears on many postcards.
📌 Tip: as the number of entries is limited, we recommend booking a skip-the-line ticket to avoid long queues.

Afternoon
Head to Barceloneta, Barcelona's seaside district. Stroll along the Passeig Marítim, then relax on one of the emblematic beaches such as Playa de la Barceloneta or Playa de Bogatell.

📌 Bonus experience: for a more original take on the seafront, opt for a Segway ride through the old town and along the coast.

Evening
To round off your stay in style, why not enjoy a seaside dinner? Here are a few restaurant suggestions with a view:
- Pez Vela – A paella facing the sea.
- Xiringuito Escribà – A seafood specialist.
- Can Majó – An authentic restaurant serving a delicious fideuà (paella made with vermicelli).

3 days in Barcelona: practical tips
